String of New Broadway Shows: Oleanna
A round of new shows have opened on Broadway in New York to mixed reviews. The first of our reviews this week is Oleanna.
Oleanna opened on October 12th at John Golden Theatre. This is the first time that ”Oleanna” has been on Broadway. It is a two player show featuring Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles. A captivating drama, you will watch the tension develop between male university professor, John, and one of his female students, Carol.

Elysa Gardner from USA Today says about Oleanna, ”…you can see the actor’s blood pressure rising. You may feel your own going up, as well. ‘Oleanna’ has lost none of its provocative power…”
John Simon from Bloomberg.com adds an ounce of moderation your expectations, “The writing clearly and deliberately aims at provocation, at which it succeeds rather better than at credibility.”
